Lisa Shoesmith is CFO at MTM where she provides strategic financial leadership so our teams can make confident decisions about the future development of new medicines. Within the finance team, she is building a world where life-changing science has strong financial foundations supported by excellent day to day cash flow management.
Lisa’s journey started with a BA (Hons) in Accountancy & Management Control, leading her to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with Mazars back in 2000. Since then, she’s worked across both private and public sectors, feeling most at home in the fast-paced world of SMEs. By understanding the drug discovery journey, she has ability to take the figures and turn them into a clear, simple story that makes sense for the business. She’s deeply passionate about making sure finance is a catalyst for growth, not a hurdle, ensuring MTM stays agile enough to pioneer the next generation of medicine.
